The train has just stopped at Syracuse-the Navy does everything in a big way. Pullman and the best of service.
You certainly meeting interesting people traveling. An officer in the Merchant Marine described his [illegible] after being torpedoed off Madagascar
Gloria Sa[illegible] has the negatives of pictures taken of me in uniform, please ask her for a print for your collection.
I will write and let you know how I succeed at Notre Dame.
