Your wonderfull letter of recommendation was most gratefull received. Thank you very much for your kindness I hope I am worthy of the fine things you have written about me.
I expect to be called up for an oral examination sometime this week, which will definitely decide if I am to be sent to school to become an Engineering Officer. Come what may I
fll let you know the out come.
Meanwhile my training/ training in the Amarillo Army Air Field Technical school is slowly but surely nearing its end; I expect to be graduated some time in March.
